It's SUNDAY - Best Day of the Week!

It's Sunday, September 9. What a great day! We started the day, as planned, by driving over to Frisco and attending worship at Stonebriar Church where Chuck Swindoll is Pastor. He not only writes outstanding books -- lots and lots of them -- he is an excellent Bible Teacher. We definitely came away blessed today. More about that in another blog.

We spent the afternoon playing in the yard, creating miracle flower beds. I call them "miracle" because the plants go in all ready to bloom -- no waiting for a seed to germinate. The
zinnias that were in the front flower bed moved to the back yard. Taking their places were 16 colorful mums -- just trying to brighten our home for the fall season. In addition to the colorful flowers, I moved a shrub from the front flowerbed to the back yard, making room for a Sage bush that should grow up to add some real beauty.

I'm posting a few pictures here and will add some more later. I just wanted to share the new colors of our home with you. By
next weekend these should all be bright and colorful and I'll add some new pictures then.

Do you remember the "little girl" who used to live in my Mother's garden and later found her way to ours? She moved to Minnesota with us, and now on to Texas. She's right out there with the colorful flowers now.
