When we went on our round-robin trip through Oklahoma we made a stop at the Peach Tree Farm orchard near Ada and got a half-bushel of fresh peaches. They do grow delicious peaches there. In the past their peaches were only available in June and July. Over the years they have added several varieties to their orchard and now say they will have fresh peaches available through early September. We'll be returning!
This past week Debbie and I made a batch of peach
jam -- the very best! Today as I was in the study blogging I heard her in the kitchen -- and she had started a new batch of peach jam. Ooooh, I can't wait! This batch will be even better than the first.
