I've been on enough planes that I have to admit that I don't always think "wow" when I board one. But when I do think about it, I still find it amazing that something so big and so heavy, carrying so much fuel and people and food and luggage can get off the ground. If you think about it, it really is STILL amazing. Wow!

The weather was beautiful for flying today. Smooth and clear all the way. Approaching Philadelphia was a really nice trip weaving through some clouds, then coming in over the Philadelphia sports complex, then over the shipyard with aircraft carriers and other large military ships.

Our lives are full of amazing and wonderful things. If we listen to much to the negative political speeches and reports from both parties, or if we hang around with those who are negative-minded or bitter about something, it's so easy to lose sight of how wonderfully we are blessed -- wonderful things all around us. Please don't lose your "Wow"!
I hope YOU are blessed today. I sure am!

As we were taking off for Tokyo in our fully loaded 777, I was thinking the same thing. Thankfully, we made it up, up, and away!
