A Happy Announcment

Debbie and I, along with David's Mom, are happy to announce the engagement of our son David Russell to Seniorita Luz Milaidi Riano Gomez. Their engagement became official following a special visit with all of Mila's family this past Friday evening at her Mom's home in Bogota.The engagement is anticipated as lasting several months as plans and preparations are made for Mila to come to the United States for her first visit.

You'll be hearing much more about these plans over the next months.

I was honored to have been there at their home when David talked with the family, asking their permission and blessing to marry Mila. And I can assure you that after spending the past few days with them, I was happy to add my blessing and Debbie's to their planned union.
