Getting Out the Bikes Again

Our bikes are out again! Debbie and I took our first bike ride together for this season -- hopefully the first of many to come this year. The ride was short, sweet and simple -- about a mile to the Subway shop for a sandwich, then back home. Isn't this a precious bike rider? I'm sure blessed!

Something really good came from it -- when we rode by the lakes we saw that the Mamma Goose was back. We hadn't seen her for several days and had been concerned that the local coyote had gotten her. But today when we rode by the lake, there she was with her "man" and her baby who is getting all grown up.

Mamma duck was there, too, with her 12 baby ducks who are all getting really big.

And the new family of Canadian geese with their 4 goslings.

The world is going on in spite of all the negative politics. New babies with the ducks, the geese, and with our children! That's always good news.
