Autumn Colors in Argyle

One of the big differences between Minnesota and Texas is the fall colors. I took these pictures in the backyard today, Thanksgiving Day, just to let you see some of our blessings.

After 7 years of vivid colors in Minnesota that ranged from green to bright red to orange to red and all shades in between, we've had to adjust slightly to slight changes from green to brown. But it is all a part of God's glorious nature and we love it all. Our oak tree in the backyard has just started making some autumn changes this week with the current cool weather that came through.

But rest assured, the tomatoes continue to produce. We still haven't had our first frost yet, though we've been pretty close. We'll keep getting a few more until that day comes, after which Debbie will no doubt prepare a great meal that includes some fried green tomatoes.

It's time for another Christmas movie, so I'm heading back to the living room. This time is it Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", the old version with Alastair Sim, Debbie's favorite of all the versions of this old story.
