We just finished our most recent viewing of "It's a Wonderful Life". It's not shown on TV as much as it was a few years ago.
When the copyright license expired on it several years ago TV stations all over would use it over and over at Christmas time to fill hours at very low cost. For a while you could count on seeing it any time you turned on the television. If you've watched any of the "Home Alone" movies, you no doubt saw them watching "It's a Wonderful Life" during some of their waiting times. In one version they were watching it in French when they were in Paris.

Two years ago, November 2005, we got to meet Karolyn Grimes, who as a young child played the role of Zuzu. This was her in the arms of her Dad, George, play by James Stewart.
Here is a picture of Karolyn with Debbie when
we attended a dinner meeting with her. It was a real treat to hear stories about the making of the movie and some of the funny moments that happened. We see those moments every time we watch it now -- most of which we never noticed or thought about prior to that.
A whole lot of little things add up to a whole lot of blessings in our lives. This was one more very special one that has added a lot of joy for us.
