HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOANNE!!Here is our Birthday Girl for the week. Joanne was born on May 3, 19#%. As noted in an earlier blog it was sometime around 5 years before me. We're in St. Louis area celebrating this year -- first time together on our birthdays since 20 years ago in 1987 when Joanne and Mike lived in Texas and we were still in Oklahoma.
Of course, Debbie and I were not a "we" at the time since it was two years before we would meet. We're having a great time here. Yesterday we spent most of our time driving around in the rain. Today the sunshine has returned and we're heading to Saint Charles.
We had a great birthday at "Lewis and Clark" restaurant in Saint Charles.
I'll post more updates as soon as I can. The hotel internet is down so we can only update while at a Panera Bread, my regular "office on the road". That has slowed down the upload process quite a bit. I'll have more pictures of our birthday weekend, plus a nice visit on the way here with Arline Britton in Republic MO.
