An Insulating Event

While we were in Stillwater for Ryan's birthday, JD and I tackled the job of putting more insulation in the attic.


Most of what was there from original construction was either blown away or packed down, with not much left behind.


So we went to work, looking and feeling so fresh and energetic. 25 bags of insulation later, the attic was in great shape, but we were looking a slight bit haggard.


I'll let the "before" and "after" pictures tell that story.


But we got the job done and hopefully that will show up soon on the electric bills, plus be a bit cooler in the hot Oklahoma summer.










Thanks, JD, for a good day of teamwork. JD dumped the bags into the blower, while your's truly was in the attic, in case you might now have guessed that from the pictures. That's one project that I'm delighted to say is FINISHED!


Been there, done that, don't want to do it again.
