Johnny Hart is with the Lord!

One loss for us and gain for heaven this weekend was the homegoing of Johnny Hart, who died from a stroke on Saturday.

Who is/was Johnny Hart, you say?

For many years he has been the writer of the "B.C." Comic Strip that is in most daily newspapers. A few years ago he began to devote many of his strips to sharing positive messages of the Gospel of Jesus, especially around the traditional holidays. In today's comic strip he quoted the words of our Lord on the Cross to the thief, "...today you will be with me in paradise".

And today, Johnny Hart was in paradise. In the newspaper report today his daughters affirmed his living faith in Jesus as His Lord and Savior.

Someday when you read about Debbie or me in the same experience, I hope our children will also affirm our faith, because ours is a living, alive faith in our risen Savior! For sure! Absolutely! Without a doubt!
