Well folks, it's bedtime in MN and no updates yet on a new Texas baby. Grandma Russell is already sound asleep. The Happy Grandpa is feeling sort of frustrated for not completing a hardware installation on the home system. But alas, tomorrow will come and we'll try again.
Kirby Puckett died today after suffering a major stroke yesterday. He was 45 years old! For all you Southerners who may be wondering, "who was Kirby Puckett", he was a star player with the Minnesota Twins baseball team when they won the World Series a few years ago. In his retirement (brought on by eye disease), he spent much time with inner-city children, encouraging them to dream what they wanted to become, then set their course to achieve their dream. And many of them have done so. I hope Kirby knew the Lord. He was highly popular in Minnesota, but he paid a price for his fame.
Good Night!
