At last writing last night, the labor was continuing in Austin. About 12:30 am Travis called to report that they were starting the "pushing" part of it and that it probably wouldn't be long. At 1:56 am we got one of those calls that no Grandparent wants to get -- they were going to have to do an emergeny C-section due to a potential problem. So we stayed awake, praying continuously, waiting.
At 3:45 am the call finally came. Andrew Tate Latham had been born, his lungs were quite healthy as demonstrated by those baby sounds of crying. Proud Dad Travis said all was well and we gave thanks to God after those two hours of intensive prayer on behalf of that little guy and his Mom. Sandra was sleeping when he called. I hope to have a picture of the "Tater" later this morning.
