I've shared a lot of pictures and comments about our trip to Atlanta. I suppose I should mention our "Homecoming Surprise".
We got home Friday evening (a day earlier than originally planned, but the travel schedule changed a bit just before we left). When we walked into the garage, the first think I noticed was a puddle of water at the front wall near the door where we go into the kitchen. That's never a good sign, to see a puddle of water where there should be no water.

Debbie and I got to exploring and Debbie found a place along the wall where there was a tiny stream of water flowing out of the joint of concrete right at the wall/floor. Since there really shouldn't be water there, we decided it was time to call the plumber. So Debbie did just that, calling the plumber listed in the emergency information provided by our builder. We're still in the first year warranty, so that was the place to start.
It was just over an hour and the plumber arrived, cut a hole in the wall, then decided he had to get his electric jackhammer and start to work on the floor. Sure enough he found a pin-hole leak in the copper water line leading to the ice maker in the refrigerator. He suggested that if we had delayed through the weekend there would have been a much larger hole and much, much more water.
He did a temporary patch and will return tomorrow to dig out part of the kitchen floor so the copper line can be properly repaired. We're sure happy that this is all under warranty!
