Driving through the Talladega National Forest

The blog today is to share some pictures of the beautiful drive through the Talladega National Forest in Alabama. The Talladega Scenic Byway through the forest was an enjoyable sight to see and share.

We stopped at two scenic overlooks on our way to the Cheaha State Park. These are just a few of the sights along the way.

The fact is that we found the entire drive across Alabama to be about the most beautiful part of our drive. Mississippi has a lot of history, especially concerning the Civil Way and the civil rights of so many people, but Alabama had the beauty along the way.
