Yesterday, July 6, would have been my Mother's 90th birthday had she lived to see it. It was always a special time to celebrate her birthday every year. We were in Tulsa recently and placed some new flowers at the cemetary where my parents are buried, observing their wedding anniversary (June 14) and my Mother's birthday, yesterday.
I heard on the radio that yesterday was also President Bush's 61st birthday! I guess it is something that is going to happen from now on, but it sure seems strange to have a President who is a year younger than me.
The CBS news station in Dallas reported that a baby boy was born in Dallas at 7:07 this morning and weighed in at 7 pounds 7 ounces. Now how's that for those who are superstitious about numbers!
Like I said, it's a Great Time for a Birthday!
