Mother's Day Blessings

We spent Mother's Day in Grant OK. Debbie had already been there for several days caring for her Mom. I was able to join them for the weekend. Debbie has been blessed by spending this time with her Mom, and I'm sure she has also been a sweet blessing to her Mom during these tough days.

Debbie was so supportive during those last weeks of my Mother's life after the stroke when we lived in Stillwater and I spent each day in Tulsa. It's my blessing to give that same support as she spends these days with her Mom.

I offered my blessing on Mother's Day by mowing Debbie's Mom's yard -- a BIG yard -- that part of it that wasn't standing in water from all the heavy rains.

By the way -- the picture I posted of Debbie's Mom on my last blog -- it was her 82nd birthday. And that dark hair is her natural color.

We have a wonderful opportunity to bless someone every day. And we have multiple opportunities to receive blessings. As the folks at Nike say, "Just do it."
