Packing a Taxi

In previous posts I have told you about the tiny taxis in Bogota. When we were preparing to leave for home, Mila called for a LARGE taxi since David, Mila, Debbie and I would be making the trip, plus all of our luggage. The first "taxi" to arrive was a truck -- plenty of room for the luggage but no room for the people.
Finally a taxi arrived, but not very large. The driver could only get 3 of our smaller bags in the truck, having to tie it down with ropes. Mila's Uncle helped with the tie-down.

We wound up with Debbie holding a couple of bags, David and Mila holding a large suitcase, while I held a suitcase, plus my back-pack and another small bag.

At least the driver was laughing right along with the rest of us.
