Just Remembering...

With all the news and activity of the ice across Oklahoma and North Texas this week, I couldn't help remembering some winters past during our days in Minnesota. Here are some special ones that I always enjoyed, even when it was current and I was out taking the pictures.

The first was out in our backyard in Elk River, with the frozen pond in the background. The second, of the pine trees covered in snow, was about 2 blocks down the street while I was out for a cool walk. Just remembering some very pretty days. We had ice in Texas today, but alas, no snow. Maybe next winter.
