The Christmas Tradition Continues

16 years ago Debbie and I celebrated our first Christmas together as husband and wife. After a morning of fun Christmas gift exchanges, I left the room to take a shower. When I returned, Debbie had prepared the nicest surprise -- an attractively arranged plate of summer sausage, cheese, cracker, pickles, olives and veggies. What a neat lunch surprise.

The next year she did it again. And that has become a very special tradition for our Christmas Day lunch. The first year began because of a gift I received of a large summer sausage and cheese. It has continued on purpose and it's something I really look forward to.
This Christmas Day the tradition continued. We were blessed even further to learn that JD and Kendra had done the same at their home, as had Travis and Sandra at theirs. And then today I learned that Jamie, Alli and Dale had joined the tradition. Thanks for joining us in this special part of Christmas. Whether you continue it or not is up to you. But I have a feeling we'll be doing this for Christmas Day for a long time.
