Will a Storm Come? Maybe a little!
It's Saturday morning and I'm watching the weather reports for Hurricane Ike that passed through Houston and Galveston overnight. All week we have heard the forecasts that winds of 50-90 mph would be going through the DFW area Saturday afternoon with very heavy rains. By now of course you've seen the reports that the storm is weakening fast and moving east. Now the news folks are still trying to sound excited about possible winds of 15-30 mph and maybe a couple of inches of rain. So not much coming this way after all.

With all of this misty rain (sometimes heavier rain), we are skipping our usual day at the fair. We might try for next weekend if we can fit it into an already busy schedule.
