"You Look HOT!"

Saturday afternoon we were out at the MercyMe concert outside the Ball Park at Arlington where the Texas Rangers play. There were several thousand people out there in the hot sun with temperatures at 105 at the start of the concert. (It had "cooled off" to 103 when the concert ended and we went into the stadium for the game. Debbie had a found a piece of ground near the stage that also had a nice shade from a large tree -- a welcome sight out there, for sure! So it really wasn't that bad -- certainly not like those folks out in the middle where there was no shade of any kind.

The Ranger's first aid team was making the rounds to make sure no one was getting into physical trouble from the heat. (There was a lot of water available -- Ozarka -- at $4 a bottle, courtesy of the Rangers!!)

While the rest of the crowd was standing and cheering for the singing, Debbie decided to sit down. One of the first aid guys who was nearby came over and asked if she was ok. She assured him she was fine, that she just wanted to sit down. He came back by later when a young boy in front of us cut his arm on the railing, gave him a bandaide, then asked asked Debbie if she was ok. She again assured him she was fine, to which he said, "Well, you look HOT"! And he gave her one of those first aid ice packs.
The Mother of the boy who got the bandaid laughed and told Debbie that she would have thanked him for the compliment! And I reminded Debbie that I have been telling her for years how "Hot" she is! We had some great laughs over that one.

You could always put the corn bags in the freezer and use those too. We love our corn bags for sore muscles and they are great for headaches too. I use them cool or heated.
