The New 911 Memorial

You may have heard about it on the news.

A new memorial was dedicated on July 4 in Grapevine Texas, just down the road from DFW Airport, memorializing the flight crews who died in the 911 attack when the American and United airliners were flown into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania.

It's a beautiful sculpture featuring pilots, flight attendants, children, and two eagles representing the two planes that went into the World Trade Center. If you ever get a chance to come to Texas, be sure to go see it.

We keep saying "We Won't Forget", but in this political season too many act they have already forgotten. This beautiful monument will be a good, lasting reminder.
