Back to Texas -- Happy Day

I had a great plan this week in Toronto. I had it all planned that on at least two days I was going to take the afternoon off and relax a little bit. Did that happen? Of course not. I can always plan in more meetings and activity than can be done in the week, and this week was no different.

Friday finally came and it was time to head home. I was successful in getting one good overview picture of the city of Toronto as we were leaving. That is Lake Ontario at the top of the picture. The CN Tower can be seen next to the white structure which is the ball park where the Toronto Blue Jays play.
My reservation had me flying to Chicago, then changing planes to DFW. The nonstop from Toronto to DFW was unavailable at the time of booking my trip. As usual, though, all flights through Chicago were running hours late due to inclement weather, so they moved me over to the nonstop after all.

I was in the very last seat in the back of the plane. I don't know if you've been there before. When there is bad weather, the back of the plane gets a wild ride with constant side-to-side turbulence. When you combine that with watching the wings flop up and down, it does interesting things to the inner portion of your body. No, I didn't require the little bag -- but the young boy next to me did.

We were at 37,000 feet over Chicago and still got extreme turbulence. I didn't mind at all when we got an hour south and the air finally cleared. I was so thankful that I wasn't at O'Hare Airport hoping for a flight south.
