Down by the Brookside

We really do have a great little brook running through the greenbelt a block from our home on Brookside Drive. Gabriel and I get by there regularly when we go out for our long walks.

Of course it makes much better pictures right after a day when we had 2.6" of rain. All the lakes are overflowing in Country Lakes -- but they do their job of catching the water and preventing flooding. Some evening soon I'll take the camera on a sundown walk and get a picture of some of the fountains as they are lit up at night so well.
