New Arrivals

We have 3 families of new arrivals in Country Lakes!!

First, our family of geese that lives in the ponds at the entrance of our neighborhood had 5 baby goslings. We assume something went wrong, either with wild animals or something else, and only one baby survived. We love watching the "family".

Then one of the ducks that lives in the same area

had 13 babies and so far they are all doing fine. Using my telephoto lense I was able to capture a good picture of 8 of them today. I'll watch for more photo opportunities and share them later.

The 3rd family? No ducks! No geese! It's one of our neighbors, also part of our home group through our church -- newly-weds just a year ago -- and they had twin baby girls this week. They will be home soon and we'll get some good pictures and share them with you soon.
