Joanne's surgery went well this morning. We got to the hospital about 6:20, she checked in, then we waited for a while. Shortly before 8:00 they took her back for final check in and preparation. She went in to surgery about 8:30 and was out just after 10:00.
All reports are good at this point, though the scar tissue could not be corrected. Keep your prayers up for Joanne, both for good healing and that she'll be a good patient after she gets home and will take good care of herself. Pray for Mike too as he deals with his physical issues and as Joanne cares for and with him.
I plan to update more tomorrow.
