I think summer finally came to an end Sunday night. We had a high temperature of 91 degrees on Sunday afternoon. And then the cool front came through and Autumn actually seems to have arrived.
Today the high temperature was in the mid-50's and with the 20-25 mph wind we had all day you would have thought an Alberta Clipper had come to town with sub-freezing temperatures. The locals were all bundled up and talking about Christmas and whether there would be a chance to build a snowman this winter. (Probably not).
I had a windbreaker in the car but didn't need it until I came home and took Gabriel for a walk. And yes, Gabriel wore his sporty little orange windbreaker on our walk while his little body adjusts to the cooler weather. It's always fun to experience the seasons in various parts of the country and see how the people handle it.
Remember what the Apostle Paul said -- "I've learned to be content with the state I'm in..."
