Last night I told you about the forecast for today and that extreme forecasts usually don't happen. Today it did. Sure enough, we had our first hard freeze. Temperature was about 30 this morning and never got higher than the mid-30's. That's pretty cool! And yes, we got our first snow of the season! It was pretty watching it float down. The ground is still too warm so there was no accumulation. It's official now -- it is winter in Minnesota!

Wow! That sounds really cold! I'm sure glad I'm in the heartland where it is nice and not snowy. Hopefully you'll be down this way someday soon!
