I just had to add one more note tonight. While the garage sales were in progress, we were also taking many items and donating them to various agencies and ministries -- furniture, clothing and many kitchen items to Good Will, and beds and other furniture to the New Hope Baptist Church ministry. (New Hope was where I served as interim pastor for 2 1/2 years).
The exciting part that I wanted to tell you about it this: Yesterday I weighed in at WW -- got a good report -- and today I took all (make that ALL) of my big-boy clothes to Good Will. I had taken a lot of shirts last week -- today I took the last of my size 40 and 42 slacks. I have no more of them! I'm wearing the new, non-baggy slacks now -- and love it! And now there's no turning back -- as if I would want to.
This was my "Father's Day Gift" to myself!
More news tomorrow night.

Congratulations Skinny!
I'm proud of you for setting a goal and sticking with it. I haven't done too hot losing any more, but have maintained for months. Could it be the ice cream? ha ha....
I know how exhausting garage sales are, but like you, I enjoy all of the people you get to see and visit with when having one.
I am happy to know that the Upchurch family is coming to OK for the wedding. Now everyone will be here that I want. Joanne and Mike, Bill and Donna, David, etc. What an exciting time this is.....
Take care and keep on keeping on!
Love,
Jamie
