Tuesday night in Cincinnati

These last two days have definitely been some interesting days and I'm happy to say that the schedule will be far slower the rest of the week.

Monday I woke up in Chicago and drove to Milwaukee where I worked at the GE Healthcare office most of the day. From there I drove to Racine, Wisconsin, to meet with one of my team members for some team development and planning. Then back to the hotel in Chicago.

Today, Tuesday, was the very long day for this trip. I got up at 3 am this morning so I could catch a 6 am flight out of Chicago -- flew to Detroit, waited an hour or so, then flew on to Cincinnati, arriving here at 11 am. I picked up my rental car and left for a 3 1/2 hour drive to Ft. Wayne, Indiana, where I met with another team member. I made it back to my hotel about 10:00 tonight. That's just a wee bit too long of a day, but that was the only way I could make it all fit. Wednesday and Thursday I'll be working at our facility here in Cincinnati on a much, much slower schedule -- thankfully! Then Thursday evening I'll be home again. Right now I'm watching the NBA game as Dallas tries to keep the season going one more game and Miami tries to end the season tonight as the champion.

In the meantime Debbie is at home putting the finishing touches on the house. The driveway has been resurfaced this week (you have to do that every couple of years with asphalt driveways) and some carpeting will be installed on the stairs to the basement. Just a little bit of painting after I get home and the giant project should be completed!!!

I hope you are having a terrific week. Jamie's countdown is getting really, really low -- just two weeks from this Saturday!! Wow! The blessings are flowing all over!
