Our New Testament has one of those unique verses in Revelation chapter 5, verse 5, that we sometimes read without thinking about it. "Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumped."
We saw "The Chronicles of Narnia" on Christmas Day; it's based on an allegory written by C.S. Lewis. Without a mention of scripture, we saw a magnificent portrayal of the majesty of our Lord Jesus, the Lion of Judah, and the deliverance that only He can deliver.
If you haven't seen it yet, we sure do encourage you do to so! Have a great week as we prepare for a great New Year!

I read those books along time ago, but without discernment, so I think I'd like to read it once more and see what it reads like. "Do to do!"
I had not read the books in the past since I really wasn't a fan of allegorical writing. But in recent years I have seen value in it and am now fascinated by the ability to picture something without writing about it.
I'm enjoying reading of your hunger for truth in your blog! Stay at the table -- there's good stuff to come! Love to you!
