It's time to start sharing photos from wedding day, Saturday, September 12, 2009 from Bogota Colombia. Of course, these will be in reverse order since this first post will be the end that anyone sees who is enjoying the wedding photos.
We started the day with a family breakfast that included little quail eggs along with an omelet of egg, cheese and ham, though not mixed up together as we usually do in our part of the US. Gabriel took this picture of us on this special day.
Yolanda, Mila's Precious Mom, went to every extreme to make sure the day was the most important day for Mila and David. She had prepared these little cannisters in which she would place a portion of wedding cake. She gave one to each family at the reception. Mila designed the top picture in Photoshop, printed on sticker-type material, cut them out and attached one to each cannister.
My last photo for this first Wedding Day post is a cute one. Yolanda had made arrangements to have the wedding cake to be taken to the reception site by taxi. The dog who belongs to Yolanda's landlord and who has taken on the task of being the protector of all in the building decided that the taxi should not leave since no one was in it.
When it was driving away, or trying to, it pulled up to the dog, the dog just sat there, finally scooting back just a bit, but continuing to sit there. The taxi tried to go around and the dog tried to bite the front tire. Finally the taxi won, but the dog sure didn't give up easy.

That's pretty funny about the guard dog!
