Live from Mississauga

It's Thursday evening and I'm in Mississauga, a suburb on the southwest side of Toronto. I thought I would share a couple of pictures taken from my hotel room window today. It's been a good, productive week, and now I'm sure ready to head home tomorrow afternoon!
The Greater Toronto Area is a unique area. Some of the largest populations of people from India, China and many other nationalities
call Toronto home.
The area along Lake Ontario is really beautiful. Like most large cities, the inner city of Toronto is experiencing a very high crime rate, and air pollution that is far beyond most of our US cities. There is currently a warning out this week to do your outdoor exercise in the mornings and not in the afternoon, especially if you have any complicating health issues. (I'm happy to report that the warning does not apply to Mississauga).
So it's nice here, enjoyable to visit, but not a place to stay a long time. I love coming here a couple of times a year.
Canada has a lot of great places and great people. I work with some of them. But I always look forward to going home. I'm proud to be an American! A United States American, that is!
