5 Guys and a Mule

Five Guys and a Mule!!! Sounds like a catchy title, doesn't it?! Maybe we could produce a movie 0r a television series! Well, if they can do Jon and his wife and kids or some of those other "noon-reality" shows, why not "5 Guys and a Mule"?!


Well, in our reality, the 5 Guys and a Mule was when the boys took me for a ride on their big green "Mule", the 4-wheeler that will go just about anyplace as we found out.

The 5 Guys?
Samuel, our driver;
Josiah, our Navigator;
Isaac, Grandpa's sidekick;
Gabriel, Grandpa's "little 4-legged boy";
And Grandpa, of course.


Samuel was our driver and did very well at driving us all over the pasture, including the bottom-land area that was covered in water from all the recent rains. In one area, the water actually came up above the floor of the Mule.


Issac sat right beside Grandpa in the middle seat, sleeping part of the time (sometimes the excitement was just overwhelming). Josiah stood right in front of Grandpa and Gabriel sat on my knee.

Gabriel was constantly smiling so big that I thought his face might break!



We made one stop on some high ground so I could get a couple of good pictures of all 3 boys. And then we traveled on. Samuel was a super driver and tour guide of the whole pasture!


Our tour took us by the chickens and goats, the goat barn, the horse barn, and then over into the part of the farm I hadn't been into before, cruising along beside the road (inside the fence, or course).
