We took a fast weekend trip, leaving Denton Saturday morning and driving to Tulsa where we linked up with my Aunt Ethel. Debbie, Ethel and I went to Floral Haven Memorial Garden in Southeast Tulsa.
They do a very beatiful observance to share honor on Memorial Day. They fly one US flag for every Veteran buried there. They started years ago with only a few, but now there are thousands of the flags all over the cemetary.
We found the flag placed in honor of our Dad and included two pictures for all our family to share.
We placed patriotic flowers at the burial place of my parents -- the little flag was placed by Floral Haven -- one on the grave of every veteran. 
It's really beautiful how they have made a place of somber remembrance into such an outstanding Patriotic Memorial.
