I'm thinking of an early morning on January 6 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. I had gone out to park the car after taking Jamie's mother into the maternity area for some business. Remember that this was back in the day when Dads weren't allowed beyond the waiting room. But in that waiting room there were nervous pacing Dads -- 4 of them, I believe, one of whom had been there for many hours.
It had been just a short time after I returned from parking the car and was just settling down for my long wait. That mysterious telephone rang and that poor guy who had been there all night and maybe more jumped for the phone, answered it with much anticipation, then turned to me with a look of disbelief on his face and said "it's for you!". Sure enough, in that short time a precious little baby girl was born.

She was a precious little baby then. She has grown into a precious and beautiful lady with two blessed children of her own. She's been a blessing these few fast years, one for whom we've expressed thanks to God uncountable times.
Happy Birthday, Jamie, with all our love, from Dad and Debbie.
