Happy New Year, dear Friends and Family! We had a lot of great days and a lot of tough days through the year. Now we get to start a whole new one! Wonder what it will be like?
Like last year, we won't be able to control all the things that come this year. We'll only be able to control how we respond to those things that happen. We can choose to bless, or we can choose another way.
Deuteronomy 30 in the Old Testament puts it this way: "...I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to His voice and hold fast to Him."
Let's have a blessed 2009!
