Today is The Day!

A very important part of our annual Thanksgiving Day fun is when Debbie plugs in the Christmas movies for an all-day marathon. Because we were not at home we didn't get to do that this year, so until now we haven't been watching those movies other than all those on the Hallmark channel.

Today is The Day!

The first movie to start the day is our old favorite, "It's a Wonderful Life". That movie will live for years to come as one of the classics.

One of our special memories of this movie came in beautiful Elk River MN when we met the lady who played Zuzu as a young child. I'll try to find one of the pictures we took of her and add it this post.

Karolyn Grimes played the role of Zuzu, the little girl in George's arms. We actually met her at the Panera Bread Cafe in Elk River. What a delight to learn so many "behind the scenes" things about the movie that make it even more enjoyable every time we watch it. Merry Christmas!
