Happy Birthday Becky

It's so hard to imagine all the miles that have passed since that November 25 when the doctor called the Dad's waiting room to tell them there was a pretty little girl waiting for her daddy. She had a rough time getting started with a few days of yellow juandice. At one point the doctor's told us that if she didn't get better by the next day they would have to do a blood exchange.

(Remember, that was a few years ago -- not the same medical technology that continues to improve).

I was a fairly new believer in Christ with a simple trusting faith. I went to church, asked the pastor and friends to pray for Becky. They did. The next day instead of a blood transfusion, they got that well little baby ready to go home -- and the next chapter of the adventure began.

Now she has her family all at home in Tennessee, a very blessed young lady! I'm looking forward to seeing our birthday girl in just over a week and will have some fresh pictures to post very soon.

Happy Birthday, Becky! We're all very proud of you.
