Home at Last

We got home very late Saturday night from our vacation week after driving about 750 miles on Saturday. We're delighed to have a day to rest here at home before returning to the normal work routine on Monday.

Our favorite parts of the trip? Getting to see so many good friends, former co-workers, church family in both churches.

Of course, the MN State Fair was terrific! And bringing home 4 dozen ears of fresh Minnesota Sweet Corn was great too. We already had some for supper tonight and are getting the rest ready for freezing. You know what that means, don't you? It means that anyone who comes for dinner with us in the near future will probably get some fresh sweet corn along with the meal.

I'll post a little bit more about it this week. For now it is time to unpack, clean up and rest up. Monday evening we start our Conversational Spanish class - just in case we have the occasion to talk with someone who speaks Spanish!!!

I love going on vacations and always save one day for recuperation at the end. I'm glad you made it home safe and had a great time while traveling.
