On the Road Again

I'm out on another weekend trip, but I guess I need to catch up on the last weekend.

Last Saturday I got a few basic things done around the house like mowing the grass. Then right after lunch I got a bright idea and started driving northbound on I-35 out of Denton. In about 2.5 hours I found myself in Norman Oklahoma and met up with a couple of really good looking ladies, one of whom even bought me a drink (Iced tea, of course) at McAlister's Deli.

We spent just over an hour having a great time visiting and hearing all the latest news about school and work and family. And then it was time for Jamie and Alli to head north for home and I headed south to retun home. It was just a short visit, but very, very nice.

Sorry, but I didn't think to take my camera into McAlisters to get some current pictures of Jamie and Alli. I'll go back soon and try to get some good ones.

On the way home I stopped in the "scenic turnouts" along I-35 in the Arbuckles and got a few pictures to share with you. There's a lot of natural beauty in the area -- very enjoyable if you can look past all the trash the humanoids leave behind. I guess they think their daddy works for the state and will clean up behind them. But the natural beauty if wonderful.

That was a very quick trip. This weekend's trip will be a bit longer. I'm in Atlanta having a "Happy Birthday" weekend with David. I flew over this morning and will go home Monday just in time to go to work. More updates and pictures later this weekend.
