A couple of you have written asking about the status of our house in Oklahoma. Closing was originally set for July 14, then bumped to the 29th. Now they assure me it will happen by the end of this next week. It's something about an Oklahoma grant the buyers applied for and that's where the delay is. You know how it is with the government. I hope to have better news before the week is over. If you hear jubilant celebration reverberating, you'll know it was finally completed!
For today, it's HOT in Texas. They're forecasting tomorrow to be the hottest day of the year so far. But next week it should cool down some and only be about 100 or so.
We're heading down to the Farmer's Market in Dallas -- I hope to have some good pictures for you later in the day.

I know that it will be a huge relief to have the house sold and in the arms of a new family to enjoy, love, and maintain it.
I love going to farmer's markets. I am sure you'll find lots of good things like the temptation melon you shared with us. I sure cannot find any of that here in my area. I look, but don't find...
Have fun trying to stay cool in this hot south heat.
