I just had to show you the photo of the Giant Spider of Bogota. One evening we were in downtown Bogota after dark and enjoying the sights when Mila suggested going to a downtown mall where there were Giant Spiders. That raised my curiosity, so off we went.
Is it dangerous? Well, it depends on what you do with it, but for the most part, no it is not. It was tame enough that David and Mila could sit down at it's legs for a good photograph.
Of course, the nearby ladybug was different -- no one wanted to sit down beside it. But it was cute anyway. There were a lot of other creatures in the mall that I didn't get pictures of. People everywhere are the same in one respect -- they love to have fun.

Interesting critters and quite entertaining... Someone has a very creative mind to put these in the mall.
