The Dallas Farmer's Market

We made our first visit to the Dallas Farmer's Market this afternoon. It's just east of downtown Dallas along I-30. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of fruits and vegetables. The prices were good and the items were displayed in a very appealing way. Yes, we brought home a lot. And we're loving it all!
Debbie really got into the spirit of finding just the right fruits and veggies. Here she was buying a bag of pickling cucumbers. We brought home oranges, peaches, raw peanuts, tomatoes, and an Israel melon -- sort of a cross between a cantalope and a honey dew melon. The samples were wonderful -- I can't wait to check ours out Sunday afternoon!
