We have a most enjoyable swimming pool in our neighborhood and we do take good advantage of it on these hot summer days. Our favorite time is late in the evening when others go home for supper.
During that time all the kids and all the bikini's go home and the pool area is quiet -- plus the sun is going down enough that it doesn't cook us.
When you think of men and swimming pools and the name "Speedo", a lot of folks picture those itty-bitty things worn in swimming races. When I told Jamie once that I wore a Speedo when I went to the pool I think she almost lost it right there. The same thing came close when I mentioned it to Becky on the telephone.
So I thought that just for security's sake and a little bit of peace of mind that I would include a picture so that maybe you won't worry about Dad and Grandpa quite so much.
Grandpa really does wear a Speedo when he goes swimming - even at the family-oriented neighborhood pool.
