It's Tres de Mayo -- Happy Birthday, Joanne!!!

It's May 3 2008 -- Joanne's Birthday. Well, actually it's the day we celebrate her birthday! Her actual birthday took place !!? years ago, 5 years before I arrived on planet earth.

We had our "birthday party" while I was in St. Peters a couple of weeks ago when Joanne was recovering from her surgery. The "birthday cake" was 3 little pieces of cake from Applebee's -- but Joanne and Mike and I had our party shortly before I left to fly home.
You may recognize this picture from a pre-surgery time a few months ago. Did you know that was two years in a row we got to have our birthday celebration together? Last year was more fun -- everyone was having a great time and several neighbors came to share in the special evening! This year Joanne wasn't feeling quite as perky -- but hopefully she is today!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOANNE!!!

We'll have an even better party next year!!
