The date was early March and the occasion was Dylan's 4th birthday. Here are a couple of good pictures of the party held out at the Stillwater Armory (no Military intervention though). Here's Dylan and Ryan with Dylan's birthday cake.
Then check out the number one Birthday surprise! Maintaining the family tradition we began 7 years ago, JD, Kendra, Dylan and Ryan got their very own mini-daschund.
The new little mini-daschund's name? Symon! And yes, he's already "spent the night" with 
Gabriel once while his family went on a short trip. Gabriel is ok with him - but he'd like him better if he was a little girl!!!

But not quite as fast as their parents did. Sometimes it seems like it is taking forever --- and then you blink your eyes -- and the children of those little children are born and celebrating their own birthdays.
