It's been sort of cool late this week here in Texas. Not exactly what I would call "cold" after 7+ years in Minnesota, but balmy and cool. Friday one of my co-workers was suggesting that I had brought this "Cold" weather from Minnesota. I assured that that it couldn't possible be true. When they asked why I was so sure, I just told them it was because there were still two digits in the temperature and the number was a "+" number!
Today the temperature here was a nice balmy 41 degrees (it's down to 29 now)(see? it really does drop below freezing here on occasion)!
Of course in Elk River today the HIGH temperature was -3! Right now it is -11. Now THAT is winter. And when I talked with Joanne this afternoon it was +10 there is St. Peter! So I don't know why these Texas folks are thinking it is so cold.

It was starting to cool off when Gabriel and I went for a nice long walk this evening. He wore his bright orange "sport jacket" just to look "cool". But when we played in the backyard, no coats were used. Now if it was 11 below, I think we would have our jackets on. The fact is that our bodies adjust pretty well to whatever climate we live in. That's just part of the marvel of God's creation!
