Wonderful News!! I'm at home in Texas tonight!
I left Vancouver shortly after 8 this morning after an early-morning drive across Vancouver.
The pictures here were taken from the backseat of my American Airlines flight.
I managed to get the backseat northbound on Monday and southbound on Friday. On Monday I was on an MD-80 jet so all I saw was the engine. 
Today I was on a Boeing 738 and had a great view for some pretty good pictures.

were immediately over the water and had a good look at the coastline of Vancouver. It was hazy and still a bit dark, but the pictures show the area from a climbing jet. 
One mountain range already had good snow in the upper elevations.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures on this fast trip through Western Canada. I may share a few more this weekend after I rest a bit.
