Home from Toronto

I'm home at last after a week of working in our Toronto office. It's always fun and unique to get to work in our Canadian offices (we have offices in several of the larger cities and I get to go to each one at least once a year). But I'm also delighted to get back home. And in spite of all of the political things in the news, I love coming home and seeing that Red, White and Blue flag at our US airports!

Unfortunately most of the pictures I took this week were business-related for my audit reports, and this time I have only a couple that I can post here to share.

The first picture is at the entry to our office in Mississauga. It's still winter in the Toronto area -- notice all the snow piled up along the sidewalk? There was more snow coming as I flew out of Toronto Friday afternoon as part of the big Northeastern Snow Storm you may have heard about. I was hoping we would get away and not have one of those airport tarmac stories to tell.



The second picture is of the Toronto Bass Pro Shop that I found on my way to the airport Friday. Note the red Maple Leaf on the Bass Pro sign. I enjoy picking up t-shirts showing the local areas and they had a nice one - got matching shirts for Debbie and me, plus a Toronto Bass Pro ball cap for me.




Then of course I had to get a shot of Gabriel with the toy I brought him from Toronto. It's a little Snoopy squeeze toy. He always has to check all over the toys to find the squeaker.
